Purex Insiders: Soft Scrub Total All Purpose W/ Giveaway

As a Purex Insider I get some really great products to try out and review. This week I got Soft Scrub Total All Purpose to try out. I used to love to clean before Frankie came along. I actually used to clean houses. And Soft Scrub was always a brand I had in my kit of cleaning supplies to take with me to peoples houses to clean.  I love that this is not just for the bathroom. You can literally use it anywhere the bathtub, toilet, kitchen sink on tile and grout. It is tough on stains yet gentle on surfaces.It is is a very versatile product which I totally love.  This is a little different than previous as this has a different bottle and cap to prevent spills and make for a more efficient cleaning experience. The new and improved formula has more whitening power and less residue, which helps aid with rinsing a bit better then the previous one I find.

I am super anal about how clean the bathroom is since Frankie now uses the big boy tub. I know hes 15 months but his baby tub was huge and it was just easier for me to use that up until recently. I always want to make sure the tub is super clean for him since hes going to be sitting in it and I am confident that with Soft Scrub Total All Purpose it is getting the job done. I also love how it leaves my bathroom smelling so clean.

My Baby

So as most of you know I took off Blogging last year...This is what I have been up to all year =)
Thats my son Frankie. He just started walking a month ago. He is such a great baby and he is my reason for everything .He turned 15 months in Feb. Being a first  time mother has been great. I was nervous at first and struggled but then formed a bunch of close relationships with a group of ladies in an online parenting group. These ladies are my rock <3 They know who they are. PLM XO

Purex Baby Detergent

Hey all,
Its been a while. I took more time off then I intended to with the birth of my son ( who is now 14 months old by the way). I am fortunate enough to be a stay at home mom and I have enjoyed spending every minute of every day with him. Being a first time mom is the most wonderful experience I have ever had. I never knew I was capable of loving someone so much. With that being said I have somewhat become one of those neurotic mothers. You know, one of those moms that is always looking for " The best of the best" for there child. I constantly read reviews on products before I use or give my son things.

       “I am a Purex Insider and help spread the word about the Purex® family of laundry products. As an Insider, I receive sample product and incentives in exchange for participating in brand related activities.” So when they approached me to try there Purex Baby detergent I jumped on board. Prior to this I had used a few different things to wash my sons clothes, but buying this other " Baby laundry detergent " ( which shall remain nameless) got way to pricey. So over the past year I had just simply been using regular Purex for my sons clothes and I used the same for mine. I wash our clothing separate but as I said use the same detergent. It is just cheaper that way. Purex is a brand I have trusted for years and had no doubt in my mind that this detergent would get the " ANDREA MOTHER SEAL OF APPROVAL".

 The first thing I noticed about the detergent when opening it up was the nice clean smell. It reminds me of " a clean baby". Now who doesn't love a clean baby? I love the fact that its hypoallergenic and dermatologist-tested.  That makes me feel comfortable that I am only putting THE BEST on my son. I love the fact that its CHEAP. This detergent will NOT cost you an arm and a leg. Do NOT let the cheap price fool you though as it is anything but cheaply made. My son and I's clothes have come out smelling wonderful and fresh. So the big question" How do our clothes look". At first I am always skeptical with products that are so fairly priced because I think to myself" How could something so cheap possibly be good". Well believe it ladies, IT DOES THE JOB. Yes it manages to remove all the gunk from my sons clothing. You know all that gunk that comes with having an active toddler- ya that gunk.

I have been horrible

Ladies-

I have been horrible at updating. So sorry. So much has been going on. I am actually having a baby boy any day now. ( He is due Nov 4th, but we will see when he comes. I feel like I am ready now.

 I have a ton of beauty products that I need to type up reviews for such as:

Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque and 

 Bumble and Bumble Alojoba Shampoo. 

Getting ready to be a first time mommy has had me so busy and I neglected my blog and my readers in the meantime. Leave a comment if your still here though.  I am sorry for not writing. This blog may be taking a different shift in the next few months as I will be a mommy and may focus a little on baby products and such, as well as my beauty products of course!!

I am in LOVE ladies!!

I am in love and its not with a guy. *( Well ok I do love my boyfriend but that's besides the point. It's with Ocean Salt cleanser from Lush Cosmetics . Now I told you I was a little late jumping on the Lush bandwagon and didn't buy my first Lush product until a few months back, if you remember from my Review. Well anyways. I got the Ocean Salt a few weeks and am HOOKED, real TALK. I actually already ran out because I got the smaller jar and CAN NOT WAIT to go back and get some more.

   First of all. I have always had skin problems. I already use a certain face wash which does it job for the most part clearing up my major blemishes, but I still have always had a TON of blackheads. Which just STINKS. I get them on my nose and the whole area below my mouth ( like above my chin and on my chin) I also get black heads on certain spots on my cheeks and my forehead.  Now when I got this cleanser I was not even thinking about my blackheads, to be honest I got it because I had a sunburn and was peeling and needed to exfoliate BAD!  So i picked this up. I actually got it at Marshall's, I love that store BY THE WAY. I was shocked when I saw a LUSH product in the cosmetic section at MARSHALL'S , it was the only LUSH product their or else I would have scooped up anything else lol.  Anyways got it to exfoliate and when I got home I saw it was for "body and face". Normally I am a little skeptical to try out anything on my face since it's kind of sensitive and nothing but Proactiv has ever really worked to begin with.I figured what the heck and slathered some on my face and neck and worked it in. First I noticed how nice it smelled. The ingredients says it has Sea Salt, Grapefruit  and fresh lime extracted in vodka as well as fresh Avocado butter.Then I noticed right after I washed it off how SOFT my skin felt, almost immediately. Anyways I used it for a couple days and noticed that it legit loosened up almost all my blackheads and brought them to the surface, where I admit I was able to get them right out of their, wicked easily with no problems , no digging at my face, and no red spots. I Know for a fact that its because of this face wash that that happened. I have had these blackheads for years and they are STUBBORN. Sometimes I can get a little out but NEVER like I was able to with OCEAN SALT.  Also my skin looked balanced and left my skin feeling so clean. Sometimes the face wash that I normally use doesn't leave my skin with that fresh and SO clean feeling that we all love and search for. 

     Now the reason I got this in the first place was to get rid of the dry skin that was peeling after my sunburned healed. It did work for that, but I only got the small jar of this and my sunburn was legit all over, so I could not use it every where I would have liked to, for the simple fact that I wanted to save as much as I could for my face. I would def recommend this product to any one that wants help clearing up their skin. Ya def use it on your body as well, but for the price if your buying at Lush I would defiantly use it just for your face( Unless of course you get the bigger jar, then GO NUTS! lol. So ya ladies I am hooked. I give this an A PLUS in my book. Needless to say I was VERY impressed with this product!!
