The Magic Warble E book Giveaway

I have some exciting news for those of you that like to read and have kiddos that like to read. Victoria Simcox has written a wonderful book about dwarfs, gnomes, talking animals and an  evil queen. If that intrigues you then this book might be just for you.( or your child, Amazon suggests age 9 and up) She has offered  three lucky readers a chance at winning a copy.

I have not had a chance to read the book yet but scrolling by all the reviews on Amazon I could not find one negative review. That should tell you something. Most people describe the book as " simply enchanting" or " a pleasant read" . The book is 267 pages long and has 1-2 pictures per chapter. ( Pictures in books always make a book more fun in my opinion)

A little about the author:

Victoria was born in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, to an Austrian immigrant mother, and a Dutch immigrant father. She now lives in Western Washington with her husband, Russ and their three children, Toby, Kristina, and William. Her other family members are a Chihuahua, named Pipsy and two cats, named Frodo and Fritz. Besides being an author, Victoria is a home-schooling mother of twelve years and an elementary school art teacher of eleven years. In her spare time, Victoria enjoys managing her two older children's Celtic band. She also loves writing, reading, painting watercolors, hiking, good movies, and just simply hanging out with her family and friends.

Here is a little teaser from the book:

Chapter 16, Leaving the Forest, Excerpt

Like a flash of lightning, Clover flew down from a nearby tree
branch. “Hurry! There’s no time to waste!” she said urgently. “We
must get you and the Magic Warble to the top of Mount Bernovem
before Queen Sentiz tortures Werrien—or maybe even kills him!”
She expected Kristina to follow her, but Kristina stood still, not
knowing what to say or do. When Clover noticed that she wasn’t
following her, she flew back and stopped abruptly in midair, very
close to Kristina’s face. “What’s the matter with you? Why won’t
you come?” she asked, irritated.

“There’s somewhat of a slight problem,” Kristina answered.

Clover put her hands on her hips. “And what might that be?”

“I…don’t have the Magic Warble.”

Clover clenched her fists angrily at her sides. “You lost the Magic
Warble? I knew it! I just knew you would fumble this mission,” she
ranted. Then she turned around and began to fly away.

“Wait a minute!” Kristina yelled after her. Clover didn’t turn
around to acknowledge her, so Kristina yelled, “I gave it to Werrien!”

Like a speeding bullet, Clover flew back to her. “You gave what
to Werrien?” she asked.

“The Magic Warble,” Kristina answered.

“Why?” Clover asked.

“Because I wanted him to carry it.”

“Well, isn’t that sweet?” Clover taunted her. “Now look what
you’ve done. You ruined any chance of Bernovem gaining back its
freedom.”

“Well, it wouldn’t have mattered anyway, because I have no way
of knowing where I need to bring it,” Kristina said, feeling flustered.
