Rimini Tourmaline Ionic Ceramic Professional Hair Dryer Review

Anyone that knows me knows I am obsessed with hair. I have been forever. People often ask if I am a hairdresser.  When I was approached to review the Rimini Tourmaline Ionic Ceramic Professional Hair Dryer I literally jumped at the chance. My hair loves a nice blowdryer and I knew right away that Xtava would be a quality company.

     I love  that it is available on Amazon which makes things so much easier. Do not let the affordable price of $29.99 fool you as this is not a cheap blow dryer by any means. 

This dryer gives a whole new meaning to the term " lightweight" . I legit have never blown my hair out with something so light. My best friend is a hairdresser and could not believe how much this thing weighed.  She is thinking of purchasing it to use on clients as well. I am trying to convince her to switch from her ultra heavy blow dryer to this and I think I may have finally put the bug in her head last night after she used this for the third time . She said she is waiting to see how it lasts before she purchases and I told her from past reviews I have read as well as what I am going on now , combined with the price that I have a good feeling about it. Only time will tell though. 

     The Rimini has three heat levels as well as two power levels.  It also has a Cold Shot button which I love. This combined with my medium sized round brush and some Redken Pillow Proof Blow Dry primer honestly my hair has never looked better. 

As you can see my hair is pretty short , but not short enough to not need a blow dryer. In fact blow drying my hair is one essential to my daily routine and I feel naked if I do not do it. I actually am so in love with my new Rimini dryer that I just sold my older blowdryer on the yard sale site this past weekend. ( And anyone that really knows me knows I had a sick obsession to that last blow dryer ~!

There is nothing I love more than a good deal. I have always been a savvy shopper but I happen to love expensive brands and that does not always fit in my budget. I thought that this would be a great tool to use before I get a Spray Tan as it is always best to make sure your skin is nice and smooth before you get a spray.

What I Thought

I really liked this. The consistency was nice and very soothing on the skin under my eye area. I wear contacts and sometimes eye products easily irritate my eyes, this was not the case with this. Thats a huge plus. It also goes on very smooth and leaves the area feeling refreshed after which I loved. ( I had insomnia a few nights this week and got no sleep and had appointments the next day. I was so happy to have this in my makeup bag I swear it made a difference. ) This helped to take the puffiness away which in my book is amazing.

And I have to admit the claims were correct. I am in love. My fave is looking amazing. You do NOT even need to use a cleanser with this but I do add a tiny bit of LUSHS " Dark Angel " onto my face and rub in with the sponge and then wash the sponge out and pat out the excess water and hang and wallah its all set for my next use. ( You can even sanitize in the microwave if need be )

THATS AMAZING!  I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THAT.  I love the fact that its free from gross chemicals and that has legit made my skin look amazing.  ( I am also using a few more beauty products which you will see later on that I have added to my skincare routine. But I have to say this is probably the Coolest gadget I have beauty wise. And its not expensive at all. This would make a great gift for someone for the Holidays!! Keep in mind that when you get the product it comes sealed up and will be really hard, but the second that you wet it it becomes so silky soft, its magic like I said. Do you love Candles ? Giveaway and Review

I am a huge candle lover. I especially love soy candles. I was so excited to be able to review these and wondered how they would differ from the other candles I have used in the past. I could not wait to put them to the test.

First off I love how the package was delivered to me. The Box they came in was just adorable. I love the fact that there was 3 scents in here and they went perfect together. I received Autumn Leaves, Pumpkin Spice and Cranberry. I love how they were paired together as  fall is my favorite time of the year , and although I burn candles year round I especially love to burn them in the fall.

I love how these burn, and I made sure to trim them as you should with candles. They smelled heavenly right out of the box and even better lit ( which actually does NOT always happen with candles I find. ) Sometimes I will be in the store and smell a candle and it smells delicious and then I get home and burn it and nothing.....I hate that and its such a disappointment. That was not the case with these.

I also have a loft style open apartment so I usually have more than one candle going at a time, spread out in the house. The way that these were paired together worked perfect.  They all smelled great together and my house smelled of wonderful Fall.

Now with all that being said there is always what the " company " says and what " consumers" such as myself really think. So what did I think?

* First off the first time I opened the jar I thought to myself " wow this looks interesting to the say the least. It looked somewhat like a gel and figured it would feel gross when I applied it. I was wrong. Once I smoothed it in I felt this nice tingling , cooling sensation.   I found that it absorbed rather quickly which the website said it would do . Thats a plus in my book. It also made my skin nice and smooth and the scent was not overpowering at all. A little really does go a long way.

* Now I am rather skeptical about products that claim to get rid of cellulite , but Body Merry seemed confident that their product works so good that if you do not like it they will refund your money back. HMMM Thats a pretty big claim to make I figured. Well after using this for a few weeks I can see why they are so sure of this product. I can not say that " my lumps " have gone away. No I wish. But I can say that my skin is visibly smoother in those areas that once bothered me so much.  I plan to continue to use this product , as I have heard that with these products its best to continue usage if you want the results to last. Now for only $19.99 I think thats a small investment to make for something that seems to be working.

The directions do say to : Massage the cream onto the affected areas twice daily (morning and night). For best results, clean and completely dry your skin before use. I sometimes forget to apply it at night ( bad girl) But always apply after I dry off after my morning shower. I need to remember to use at night because I bet I will see even better results than I already have. ( and I did mention I am VERY happy with this product so far)

I have never used a retinol serum before so I was a little nervous as I do have sensitive skin and was afraid I would break out. As many of you know I was a big tanner and that and maybe stress caused some wrinkles on my forehead so I decided that reviewing this maybe would not be such a bad idea,

Now before you read the rest not all of you may know what retinol is. Let me explain a little first.

( so if you were a tanner like I was then you might want to invest in this.

I have not noticed a change in the wrinkles but as I mentioned with other products you need to keep using it, you can NOT give up just because you do not notice a change right away. I heard that you should even use this late twenties to early 30s even without signs of damage because it can help to prevent and keep at bay. So since I have NOT had a reaction to this and since my wrinkles at the moment are not bad at all, I am deciding that prevention is the best key, and I rather be safe then sorry.

The way that its best to use this according to my research and the directions are:

First, cleanse and exfoliate your skin, then apply your toner and allow your skin to dry. If you use a Vitamin C serum, apply that next, and follow it with Azure Naturals Ultimate Retinol Anti Wrinkle Serum. Apply your moisturizer finally.

Well lets see. I get the product. It came super fast ( order off amazon) and was surprised at how big the bottle was. I opened it right away and love that it comes with a little medicine dropper. I was hoping that it did not smell like strong roses cuse that smell usually bothers me, and to my surprise the rose smell was hardly there. 

Now there are a few uses for this product. I do have some scars that are pretty old and I have been using it on that every night ( rub a little between my palms and spread on the scars ) anyways I still have not had this product long so I have not noticed if they are fading or not but with ANYthing that claims to remove scars you need to give it some time and the trick is NOT to give up. So I am being consistent with using this every night.

I had also had some strange itchy rash on my legs since July ( and ya I know ladies but NEVER went to the doctors for it LoL) I decided to put some of this on it for the heck of it , and the rash is fading and is no longer itching me. ( I would itch this rash all day to the point that it was bruising) SO that was a pleasant surprise. 

I have not used this in my hair yet, but I am going to. My hair gets weighed down very easily so I want to be cautious. I think  I will give that a whirl this week and I will be sure to update.

I also have to add that I have been smothering my legs with this which get super dry in the fall and winter and nothing EVER seems to help. This is keeping them silky and smooth for now, which makes me happy.
